NVH
Comprehensive
package for advanced measurement in automotive and transportation
industries.
OR24 comprises the latest analysis techniques available: fft, order
tracking, 1/n octave, color spectrogram, constant-band tracking.
Comes standard with a remote control and battery pack.
Vibrations
Ideal for
general frequency domain measurements in narrow-band and 1/3 octave:
structural, vibration test, machinery, audio…
Just pick the right option for your application:
Acoustics
Based on CPB
(Constant Percentage Band) real-time digital filters for industrial
acoustic measurements.
Conforms with international standards: base, 1/3, 1/12, 1/24 octave.
Diagnostic
Dedicated
package for condition monitoring and vibration troubleshooting.
Offers fft and specific features such as cepstrum, envelope and kurtosis
analysis.

|
Specifications
|
The
OR24 is presented in 4 configurations based on the same
hardware, corresponding to 4 typical fields of application:
-
Vibrations
-
Acoustics
-
Diagnostic
-
NVH
|
Although
the 4 configurations have some common features, they have been
individually tailored to better suit each application with dedicated
packaged analysis functions. The hardware analyzer base of the various
models remains the same whereas software and accessories can be
customized. Upgrading from one configuration to another becomes very
easy. Only a software upgrade is needed.
Because
the software is application oriented, you only find the features
related to your field of interest. When using the instrument you will
notice that some commands and settings have already been appropriately
adjusted to your needs.
Just
select the model corresponding to your applications.
-
Vibrations model:
includes all common functions for frequency domain
analysis: spectra and cross-spectra, FRF, coherence, waterfall,
mathematical functions, filters...
You may
add one or more options:
- Modal:
used together with a modal analysis package for structural
analysis
- Rotating:
for RPM related measurements and order analysis for general
machinery
- Orders:
order analysis and tracking, in real-time or post-analysis, for
machines with fast RPM variations. This technique is based on
angle domain analysis, obtained with synchronous digital
resampling of the input signals.
- Acoustics
model: In acoustics, 1/3 octave, and more generally 1/n
octave analysis is widely preferred because of a better match
with the human ear for the perception of the frequency.
This
analysis is based on real-time 1/n octave digital filter banks,
complying with the international standards.
We
offer: 1, 1/3, 1/12 and 1/24 octave, conforming to IEC 804 end
IEC1260.
It
directly allows measurements of Leq and waterfall
This
model is ideally suited for industrial acoustics.
Futur
developments : reverberation time, Ln levels, intensity spectrum.
- Diagnostic
model: Extension of the Vibrations model, it features some
critical functions for the vibration diagnostic and
troubleshooting on rotating machines.
Here
you need a panel of analysis tools capable of highlighting any failure
in compressors, turbines, pumps, alternators, gearboxes, or any type
of machines.
The
failure can come from the various components of the machinery: roll
bearings, journal bearings, gears, transmissions, electric —
hydraulic — mechanical coupling.
The
adapted tools available in OR24 are: tachometric measurements,
envelope, cepstrum, skew, kurtosis, absolute phase, Bode plot, orbit,
multi-frequency band spectra
- NVH model: Gathering
all the modes of analysis available: time domain, frequency
domain, orders domain, 1/n octave domain.
It
comes with the DC—battery pack which also allows connection
to an external DC power supply (10VDC to 30VDC), The battery protects
OR24 against any power failure during up to 1.30 hours.
The
driver to fully control OR24 while driving can use the remote control
during vehicle tests. Just a press on a key for starting a measurement
or a record, save data, or any.
The
NVH model is particularly flexible and very efficient for those who
look for a universal tool: NVH departments in the car and
transportation industry, consultants, researchers, and teachers.
